Region Actual Looking

This territory called Newfoundland in wich Notre Dame´s bay, Fortune Bay, Trinity Bay, Placentia Bay, St. Johns and Cape Race between others. It looks like a beautiful sea section with trees and islands, it it has houses and some suburban coast sections that make it look like a good turist zone. Today it has more buildings but still has that marvelous touch that was there since the great explorer John Cabot (Giovanni Cabotto).

Native's Perspective

I saw this homoungous big bearded mans with swords and guns, I was scared and I went to my house with my mom, thoose big gods were talking in a very rare form of comunication and were carring big strange flags, I thought they were going to conquer us or something. I was scared and nervous because I knew my life wasn't going to be the same since here. The leader man had a long gray beard and looked like surly a stronger man than us, plus he carried a red armature and a ore with metal sword. He walked along with 30 men staring at our chief and at eberybody. I tought maybe he was a god and came to give us presents.

Support

The King Henry VI gave me money to travel and supported me, so I went to Bristol to make the preparatives to go to this risky trip to new lands. That's how I got supported to get there.
Yhis was a long trip so I had to be goodly prepared to sail to the new lands. King Henry VI game me permission to: free authority, power to sail to all parts, regions and coasts of the eastern, western and northern sea, flags and ensigns, with five ships and with mariners and men , at their own proper costs and charges, to find, discover and investigate whatsoever islands, countries,etc.

Discoveries of John Cabot

I was a venetian navigator and my discovery was North America, I was the first europian to land on North America back in 1497.I went to Bristol for the preparations to go to Hi-Brazil and North America. As I landed on North America I could see some native people starring at me like if I was a god or something. they stared at my beard. I felt powerful and dominative, but I sudden tought to help me on my ship and take them back to Europe and grab their goods to show them to the king. They were black and skinny and kind of short but looked inofensive. I decided to claim this land for England and they didn't understand me so I had a hard time getting the to do what I wanted. But their lands were beautiful and rich in soil and crops, this was surely a new world. It had big trees and beatiful seas. It was awesome.
